Dehradun:(Page3 News Network)- State Government has removed Chairman of Uttarakhand Minority Commission Sukhdev Singh Namdhari from his post.
Secretary Social Welfare (Minority) MH Khan said that 14 criminal cases were registered against Namdhari including two of heinous nature which were still subjudiced. He said that one case was filed under Section 395/397 and another under Section 147/327/171/307. The presence of Namdhari's Gunner during Ponti Chdda murder case had put Namdhari under scanner. The Uttarakhand Government, considering possible dent on State's image, with the consent of the Governor, terminated Namdhari from his present post in public welfare.
