Chairman Revenue Board visited Udham Singh Nagar

Dehradun:(Page3 News Network)- Chairman Revenue Board Subhash Kumar visited Udham Singh Nagar and Champawat districts and took stoke of the construction works. He obtained information about Tanakpur-Jauljivi Road, Tanakpur-Tavaghat Road and Ghatiyabagad-Lipilekh Road from Brigadier MS Sodhi from Borfer Road Organization.
 Brigadier Sodi apprised Mr. Kumar that some problems were being faced in construction work of roads for which officers of Central Government and State Government should convene meeting time to time so as to resolve those problems. Mr. Kumar also inspected 250 km long Tanakpur-Tavaghat Road. He was told that after completion of road the distance between Tankpur and Dharchula would reduce by about 100 km. Chief Engineer PWD said that the Department would forward the DPR of Tanakpur- Jauljivi Road by December this year. Mr. Kumar congratulated BRO officials on completion of 40 km long double lane Tanakpur-Chalthi Road on Tanakpur-Tavaghat Road and 12 km long Tanakpur-Kakralighat Road, and 31 km road of 65 km long Munshyari-Milam Road.
 During his visit to Champawat, Mr. Kumar inspected newly constructed District Hospital. He also inspected underconstruction Navodaya Hospital. He directed the Managing Director of KMVN for better maintenance of tourist spots. He also reviewed works of District Sector and State Sector and instructed the officers concerned to expedite the development projects.
